This week’s inspiration is curiosity. Curiosities described in the dictionaries and the desire to learn something. There were many famous people who followed their curiosity. Hedy Lamar, a famous actress in the 30s and 40s, followed her interest in communications and actually led the way for GPS Wi-Fi. Alexander Fleming, a scientist, noticed strange molds in his lab, and he studied them out of curiosity and discovered penicillin. Walt Disney asked himself what this could be when he bought some swampland in Florida. They all followed their curiosity, and it all led to great things for all of them. Curiosity is our ability to learn, to move forward, not knowing what we’re going to find but trusting we will find something quite interesting.
Hedy Lamar did not know she would invent GPS or Wi-Fi. The scientist Fleming did not know he would find penicillin, and Walt Disney simply bought swampland, not knowing it would become Disney World. We need to follow our curiosity. It will lead us to great things. That’s why this week’s inspiration is curiosity. It’s all about self-love, people.
