This week’s inspiration is two little words. Two little words that will literally change your life. They are “So what”. “So what” is described in the dictionary as not important or I don’t care. Imagine having “so what” in your head when people are coming at you, telling you that you’re wrong. You need to choose a different path. What if instead of taking their words in and letting them define you, you, in your head, said, “So what”, I’m doing what makes me happy.
It’s like I told a story about a pasture on a plane. And the plane hit turbulence, and it bounced up and down, and every adult was getting afraid except the little girl who kept coloring in her book. The pastor watched her during the entire flight. When he got off the plane, he asked her why she kept coloring when everybody else was so afraid. She said, “Because my dad’s the pilot and I know we’ll get there.” In other words, she said in her head, “So what.” I know I’m safe. I’m secure, and I’m surrounded by love. That’s what spiritual common sense does. It lets us know that we are surrounded by love and we are safe, so we can say “So what” to any bumps that come along the way. That’s why this week’s inspiration is “So what.” Use it in your head whenever somebody tries to take you off your path. It’s all about self-love, people.
