Once you have begun to change your negative beliefs, you should add affirmations to your toolbox. Affirmations help keep your mind focused on what you want to happen and also help to lock it more into your heart. There is no quicker way to lock it into your heart than to say something every day.
Unfortunately, too many people like to do affirmations without doing any of the work removing the negative beliefs. This will change little in their life. It is almost like doing a prayer over and over with no emotions or feeling behind it. It will change very little in your life. However, if you begin to change the negative beliefs by feeling them and understanding that you can choose to believe something different, they can make a huge difference. The affirmations aid you in doing this work that is why you need to add them to your toolbox.
The good thing about having affirmations you do daily is they can ground you when things appear to be going off track. Everything tech-oriented seemed to break on me -my computer and my phone—two things I needed for my new job. I kept saying my affirmation that” life is in my favor,” and it grounded me. And guess what, everything did work out in my favor. If you are changing negative beliefs, then it is time to add some affirmations to your toolbox. Affirmations done the right way can change your life for the better.
