I know the world looks crazy to many as if it is moving backwards towards fear and hate and separation.   But I believe there is more love on the planet than ever before.

In times past, and not that far into the past, few would have been openly outraged at racist or bigoted talk or behavior.

In times past, and not that far into the past, few would have championed women’s equality and rights to be in charge of their lives.

In times past, and not that far into the past, few would have demanded that gays and people of various sexual orientations be treated with fairness and dignity.

I know the world seems scary to many right now but don’t lose hope. There are more people now than ever before that are choosing love over hate.

Make sure you are doing the same;

by taking the time to notice the goodness that is prevalant all around the world,

by celebrating the kindnesses you witness throughout your daily life,

by showering your love on all that you meet,

and by becoming a light for others who may get lost in the stormy seas of fear.
