Breathing is your power. When you’re working on returning to self-love – as I’ve said before, and I will say it again – you have everything you need already inside of you. Now during this time of anxiousness and crisis, many people walk around all uptight. You can meditate. You can do your gratitude. Or you can do your affirmations, and you can do your prayers. But you can also use your breath.
Again, you already have everything you need inside of you. Breathing is your power. Put your attention on your breathing. Sit up, lay down, do whatever’s comfortable, and put your attention on taking long deep breaths in – holding it for a few counts – and then exhaling long deep breaths. If you’ll do that, take 5 to 10 deep breaths, it will slow your heart down. It will take some of that anxiety off of you. And you will be much more grounded. Breathing is an excellent way to ground yourself and an excellent way to release some anxiety. Breathing is your power. It’s all about self-love, people.
