This week’s video inspiration is a Buddha saying, “Everything changes; nothing remains without change.” I highlight how we are going through significant disruptions in social justice, voting rights, women’s rights, gay rights, black rights, gun rights. Everything is up in the air with change. I have faith that we will come out of this period with more inclusion, more stable and expanded rights, and frankly more love, compassion, and acceptance.
“Everything changes; nothing remains without change” is to remind all of us that we, too, individually, are constantly changing. We can participate by deciding to expand our sense of who we are and what we can do. We can let go of our negative ego, past hurts, and negative beliefs. If change is inevitable, make it your ally in becoming more of who you truly are.
Why not use disruptions to make it your goal to expand your sense of being lovable, loving, and loved. In other words, why not use it to fall more in love with yourself? It is what I did when it felt like the rug was being pulled out from under me. I lost almost everything and everything that mattered to me. I removed everything that kept me from knowing the truth.
My journey back to Self-love reminded me that I was a pierce of the divine having a human experience. So why was I so afraid of life? What made me forget I was worthy of love? How did I forget that my loving was good enough? Why did I forget I mattered and was valued by the universe? Why did I forget these truths, and why did I now remember them?
My childhood bully took my self-love by forcing me to shove it down and loss brought it back when I almost lost everything. This is why everything changes, and nothing remains without change is an inspiration. Because if this is true, we can all find our way back to self-love.

Until next time, be the light the world needs and have a love for all.
