When working on returning to self-love, like I’ve said many times, you’re going to have to be comfortable with emotions. But there’s something that I’ve noticed. A lot of people are afraid to cry. They may feel like crying, but they shove it down. Or they refuse their feelings of needing to cry. What makes you stop from crying?
Crying is essential in releasing the emotions that you’ve shoved down. Crying is essential in releasing the emotions that you’ve ignored. Crying is essential in order to make space to find new solutions and answers. You must be able to cry in order to heal your past wounds.
If you’re afraid of your emotions and you’re afraid of crying, you need to make that one of your priorities. You need to become comfortable with emotions. The moment you feel like crying and if you are alone, you need to give yourself permission to have a cry – to really push into having a good healthy cry. You will feel better, and you will actually raise your vibration and you may even find answers or solutions you’ve been looking for.
We must not be afraid to cry. It is not a sign of weakness. It is a sign of a healthy person who knows when they need to let their tears flow. It’s time to let your tears flow. It’s all about self-love, people.
