We all have a negative ego. Unfortunately, it is never our friend. It always lies and tells you it is the other person’s fault. They are the ones to blame. You did nothing wrong, and they must be punished for hurting you. Don’t believe your negative ego. It will take you away from the inner work you need to do to change and evolve.
When someone does not do what we want, the negative ego screams to get them back. They didn’t call you, so now they need to be accused and yelled at never to do that again. The negative ego keeps you focused on the wrong things. Don’t believe your negative ego. What you should look at is why you are so angry. Why did someone not call you and get you so messed up? Again the negative ego lies. The question you should be asking is, why am I so hurt? Underneath all anger is hurt. And underneath the hurt are feelings of not being loved or lovable.
When you are willing to look at why you feel what you feel and stop blaming others for it, you are taking your power back. Once you understand yourself and know that you are looking for love in the wrong places, you can begin to offer yourself the love you desire. And then, if necessary, you can set boundaries with the person who did not call you. Don’t believe the negative ego. It will keep you from loving yourself; after all, it is about self-love, people.

Until next time, be the light the world needs and have a love for all.
