Embrace your emotions. When you are working on returning to self-love, you are going to have to get used to your emotions. I have said it before, and I will say it again. What triggers your fear? How does your anger get triggered? What is underneath your anger? Frankly, it is always hurt or frustration. What causes you to be frightened or hurtful or fearful? You are going to have to look at these emotions. You will have to learn to move through these emotions and transform them with love. To embrace your emotions is something you will learn to do.
Shoving down the emotion or ignoring it s not going to transform that emotion. It will make it quiet for just a little while, but it will raise its head eventually. So, You need to learn to confront your emotions – to look at them honestly – to feel them and to transform them with love. In other words, to embrace our emotions. It is all about self-love, people.
