This week’s inspiration is a Kierkegaard quote. Faith sees best in the dark. This spoke directly to me. Faith is rarely used when you’re experiencing a good life, or a successful time, or falling in love. Faith is not needed during those times. In fact, faith tends to be put on a shelf to be pulled down only when things seem to be going wrong.
“Faith sees best in the dark”. It cannot see the best in the light but sees the best in the dark. When we find ourselves in the dark, going through tough times, faith steps up beside us, gently holding our hands so that we know that we are not alone. Faith becomes our best friend during these times, keeping us company – having her back and reminding us all the good times are not over. Faith sees best in the dark, and that’s why we always need faith, especially during tough times. It’s all about self-love, people.
