When working on returning to self-love, you’re going to have to learn to embrace your emotions. You’re going to have to engage both your mind and your heart. You cannot think your way to wholeness. You’re going to have to be willing to feel.
You cannot connect back to self-love without the willingness to know what’s going on inside of you. And you cannot heal or transform what’s going on inside of you without the ability to understand and work with your emotions. We are emotional beings for a reason. Emotions are a vital part of our power. Our emotions are a vital part of how we co-create our reality. The mistake is not that we are emotional beings. The mistake is we were never taught how to work and to transform our emotions. Don’t you think it’s about time that you learned how to deal with this powerful tool? Learn to embrace your emotions. It’s all about self-love, people.
Note: To embrace your emotions does not mean you dump your emotions on other people. It means you take responsibility for what you feel and know you are in charge of changing that. It is not about blaming others for what you feel. Learn to embrace your emotions.
