When working on returning to self-love, you’re going to have to look at your need to be right. Now, I’ve mentioned this before. This is about the safety Nets I talk about—judgment, being in control, or needing to be right. Needing to be right needs to be looked at now, especially during this healing time we’re going through.
Rather than forcing yourself upon other people to say I’m correct, and you’re wrong. You need to practice listening to another person – need to practice listening with open ears and an open mind. Not waiting for your chance to say, you’re wrong, and I’m right, and I’m going to tell you why. You need to give up that need to be right in order to be centered and to hear another point of view that may be different than your point of view. When you’re working on self-love, you’re going to have to give up a lot, and one of those things is “needing to be right.” You need to replace that with the need to listen. It’s all about self-love, people.
