This video highlights why we all need Playtime, even if we are adults because it connects to the powerful energy of joy. The energy we use to co-create our reality.
I describe what Playtime is and how most descriptions say it is for children to have fun. To play is how we learn to use our creativity by expanding our imagination and gaining physical, cognitive, and emotional strength. Why do adults stop growing their creativity or expanding their cognitive or emotional strength? That is why Playtime is essential.
I share how I always knew Playtime was essential. My folks also knew this by playing games and cards with us. I choose friends on how well they play. I even chose my jobs because they were fun, such as acting, producing, and directing. My first feature film was exhausting and the most fun I ever had.
Playtime is essential because it connects us to the most powerful energy we use to co-create our reality – JOY. Unfortunately, most people no longer play, some even seeing it as useless and only for kids. Yet, the great minds knew the importance of play, from Einstein, Emerson, to Martin Buber, who says, “PLAY IS THE EXULTATION OF THE POSSIBLE.” Don’t we all need to believe in the JOY of the possible?
If you believe you are not worthy, or not good enough, or not valuable -why would you play? If you can not play, look at what you feel about yourself? We need more people being kind, more people smiling through life, more people knowing that they are lovable, loving, and loved just the way they are – and we need more people laughing. Playtime is essential if we want to create this kind of world.
