I stress in this short video why practicing self-gratitude can aid in connecting with self-love. In an early video, I highlighted the importance of beginning your day with the “I am’s” -I am powerful, good enough, talented, etc… This begins your day with self-love talk. Now I share why you should end your day with self-gratitude.
I impart the importance of ending your day by choosing three things that make you glad you are you. Perhaps you share some money with someone on the street. I am grateful that I am generous. Maybe you made some laugh at work. I am grateful I have a sense of humor. Find three things every day that make you feel grateful you are you.
By choosing three things that make you feel grateful for being you, you are expanding your sense of self-love. For example, if you are in hard times, maybe you are grateful you kept putting one foot in front of the other. No matter what you feel, you can always find three things, and this will keep you rooted and expand your feelings of self-love. After all, it is all about self-love, people!
