This video shares what happens when two people go through tough times and how they handle it differently. Both cry and yell at the universe for the dark times. Both feel alone during the tough times, but the sameness ends there. It becomes a story highlighting that self-love matters.
The woman lacking self-love ends her evening crawling into a ball and feeling all alone in her despair. When she awakens the next day and sees that everything is the same as the day before, she feels hopeless and begins to spiral downward again.
The woman who has self-love also yells and cries at the universe, but instead of ending her evening there, she continues and offers the part of herself that is in pain, love, and understanding. She imagines arms wrapping around her and making her feel safe. When she awakens the next day and finds that everything is the same as the day before, she trusts herself, knowing she can find what she needs inside of her to get through the tough times.
The difference between the two women is self-love. When one hit the tough times, she felt abandoned and alone in her pain. The other one who hated the tough times just as much knew she could handle it because she discovered she had everything she needed already inside of her. By connecting to self-love, she found self-love matters, especially during tough times. The other one wanted someone to rescue her, never understanding the truth – that self-love matters.
