When I have dimmed my light for another, it did not add light to the other.

When I have surrendered my light to fear, it did not make me safer.

When I have denied my light to fit in, I never felt more alone.

Then

SELF-LOVE 

showed me a better way.

When I have allowed my light to shine unimpeded, it always touched those that needed it.

When I have chosen light over fear, I discovered I was always safe.

When I have acknowledged my light without concern, I never felt more connected.

We were never meant to hide our light. 

So don’t let fear, other people, or even yourself stop you from shining as brightly as possible.

You are the bright star of your life. So shine your light proudly.

It is what you came here to do!
