Hey if you missed my Spiritual CommonSense #9 show, you can listen to it now. It was by far my best show yet! I do a great interview. I do my best “This Inspires Me” segment. And my spiritual homework anyone can do to improve their lives.
I start out Spiritual CommonSense #9 show discussing how the universe always seems to force you to change your mind whether it was about vaccines, situations, or people. I share how I used to laugh at the PTL club as being full of frauds. However, after watching the interview Tammy Faye had with a man with AIDs, I had to change my mind about Tammy. She was so kind and gentle with him. And with the film coming out this month, THE EYES OF TAMMY FAYE, I interview Steve Pieters who was the man that Tammy Faye Baker interviewed in the early ’80s. He had AIDs and was doing interviews concerning AIDS within his gay community. Tammy invited him to her PTL show to discuss it. We discuss the interview as well as his varied life and why his fairy wand is in the Smithsonian. Best interview yet!
This Inspires Me is about a fable called The Beautiful Heart. It tells how a young man brags about his beautiful heart only to be challenged by an old man. While the old man’s heart is bruised, scarred, and wounded he feels it is more beautiful. It is a wonderful fable that highlights the importance of sharing your open heart with everyone you meet even if it gets harmed along the way.
I made this month’s homework appear a bit easier although many will find it hard at first. There are two things I suggest you do – first in the morning, start your day off well with some powerful “I am’s” – and last end your day with potent self-gratitude. I hope you enjoy the show as much as I did doing it!
