This week’s inspiration is a list
Who is on the list
Oprah Winfrey, Bill Gates, Stephen King, Jim Carey, and Walt Disney are all on the list that inspires me. Not for what they have done but what they all overcame. From being told they were not good enough by publishers- Stephen King – to not having enough imagination – Walt Disney – they all rose above their past.
The list proves that hard Times define us
The hard times forge our souls. The hard times make us go deeper within to find the strength to keep moving forward. Difficult times make us look for a sliver of courage to confront those who are harming us. Finally, the hard times make us trust that the universe has our back even when it does not look that way. This list inspires me because they all had hard times to overcome.
It reminds us we get to choose
This list inspires me because it highlights with a bright light that we indeed come into this world with everything we need. That is the beauty and wisdom of a loving universe to give us “free choice.” It allows us the freedom to choose what we want to experience. And the loving universe also had the wisdom to provide us with everything we will need for the journey before us.
Inspire yourself
When I started out on my spiritual journey decades ago, I wanted someone to show me the way and heal me – to shower me with self-love, but the universe knew I needed to do it for myself since self-love is about loving yourself. So trust that you have everything you need for the journey before you – that is how much the universe loves you. And that is why this list inspires me.
