We seem to be getting a lesson in how not to take responsibility. In fact, I would go so far as to say we see a master class in deflecting and projecting every day in our politics. Two techniques used by the negative ego to keep us separated from our authentic power and our inner truth.
Part of evolving in consciousness means you must take responsibility for all aspects of your life. You cannot be an empowered conscious person and NOT own your responsibility. It just doesn’t work.
People who deflect or project or look to blame others will never be all they can be because they are held hostage by their negative ego. They are lost in a permanent state of victimhood. It doesn’t matter how loud they shout or how hard they push. Their tough exterior is masking the ugly truth that they are stuck in victim mentality, which is the natural state of the negative ego.
Since our world seems to be mirroring this predicament so clearly, I would suggest taking time to look at where you also deflect and project. Taking an honest look is the only way to move out of the dark into the light.
Do you prefer to blame others rather than taking responsibility?
Do refuse to own your mistakes or even acknowledge that you have ever made a mistake?
Do you feel everyone else is wrong and only you are right?
Do you call people liars when someone calls you out?
Do you try to destroy others when you feel they are attacking you?
Do make people your enemy when they disagree with viewpoint?
It is time we all wake up and take responsibility for our lives –the good, the bad and the ugly. If we do this, we can quit being hostages to our negative egos and become partners with our higher nature or Higher Selves, if you will. Then and only then can we all become all that we are meant to be!
If you are not sure where to start, look at your lack of self-love. It will tell you everything you need to know.
Until next time be the light the world needs and stay in love for all.
